Too much effort?

At the end of a hard day’s work ferrying tourists and locals up and down the Mekong, it is time to park the long boat. But there are no spots!

So we PRY two boats apart and gun the engine to make a spot.

After a half hour the boat is finally parked.  It was so much effort though.

I wonder why they didn’t just park further down the coast.

Maybe a case of too much effort to change the process.
