Paint No Closer!

The bright yellow label says:

Caution – Do not paint conduit within 8″ of this end of fitting.

NOTE: The conduit is naturally silver and brown paint covers it up to within a half-inch at the longest.  Even the label has been painted with a little bit of brown paint.

It appears that (1) the yellow labels on the conduit fitting were not sufficient to carry their message across to the paint crew and (2) the fact that the paint comes much closer to the conduit than 8″ doesn’t seem to be causing any problems – – yet.
