Can’t see into overhead bins
The Boeing 777-300 which ANA flew me over to Japan in is a massive plane. I sat at least 30 feet above the ground, and when landing I was surprised at the wheels touching down well before I thought I was close enough to the tarmac. The passenger compartment is also really big, with plenty of place to stand and a lot of overhead storage. The problem is that the overhead bins are quite a bit above the average passenger’s line of vision, so they could not see if there were bags in the bin. The solution?
A mirror placed inside the compartment on the top, so the passenger can look to see what’s up there. A larger mirror might help, since it was hard to see items in the back corners of the cabinet, but it was a good start.
