A Wet Rug

This oriental rug is submerged in a small pool below a waterfall, in the Himalayan foothills.

A great reminder not to be trapped by expectations.

Perhaps not all carpets are meant for dry ground?

Perhaps a wet carpet is not always gross to walk on?

Perhaps you could put an entire living room set into a river?

  1. Is the rug in a stream crossing and perhaps meant to protect bare feet or feet in soft soled shoes from sharp rocks underneath the rug? Cause if so, brilliant idea by whoever put it there.

  2. I suspect that the rug is a shower/bath mat. Safer to stand on that rather than to risk stepping on a sharp rock when bathing.

I think you two must be right. Avery fancy shower/bath mat to avoid slipping or tripping on the uneven and sharp (possibly) stones below. Nice solution I think.

  4. You’ve heard of flying carpets, so what’s so odd about a swimming one?

You’re right! To complete the set then I should look out for a carpet on fire, since I’ve now covered carpets on air, water and earth.
