Lost
Today’s post is a sad, and therefore I’ll keep it brief.
This last weekend while out and about in Bangalore my camera (the fabulous TX-1) and I went separate ways. Unfortunately I do believe this is a permanent split and though I keep a tiny sliver of hope that I may be re-united with my camera sometime in the future, this split has some immediate impacts on my day-to-day life which need to be addressed.
For one, I will be taking a brief hiatus from posting on ConallDempsey.com. I do have a couple more posts from my time in Sri Lanka, but there there might be a dry spell for a week or so while I sort out a new digital camera. Any recommendations are welcome!
Just wanted to keep you all informed.
Having become reliant on my own little point-and-shoot in recent years, I can thoroughly appreciate your sense of lost.
I hope you had a chance to back up most of the photos before it went a’ walkin’.
Conall – my sympathies go out to you. The fact that this is a recurring event probably does not make it any easier on you.

Is there some sort of website we could go to in order to donate money to the “Buy Conall A Camera Fund” in order to get this website back up to speed with new posts and pictures?

I appreciate the condolences and comments. I didn’t really lose any pictures since I had downloaded my latest just before the incident.
Be back up with a camera before long though.
